Working Abroad Program Features
InterExchange Working Abroad offers many live and work abroad programs for U.S., Australian, Canadian and European Union citizens, including Au Pair, International Volunteer, Teaching English, and Work and Travel programs.
InterExchange Working Abroad programs feature:
The Chance to Further Career Goals or Personal Interests
Programs can be based on personal interests or career development needs.
Pre-Arranged Work Placements and Housing
Most programs include pre-arranged housing and work placements so you’ll know where you’ll be living and working before leaving the U.S. Our more flexible programs offer job placement and housing resources as needed throughout the program as you travel.
Work Permit and Visa Application Assistance
We help ensure you’ll be legally entitled to work and travel during your time in the program.

Accident and Sickness Insurance
Insurance is either included in each program, or available through InterExchange at a reasonable cost. Check your program for details.
Pre-Departure and Host Country Assistance
Through the Working Abroad office and our local cooperators in each country, pre-departure and in-country assistance are offered throughout the entire program. You always have a local contact to answer questions or provide assistance if needed.
