Chile offers a fascinating variety of landscapes and cultures. The 2400 miles (4500 km) long country is tucked between the Pacific Ocean and the Majestic Andes mountains.
Chile's treasures are the wide beaches, the fertile central valley with its highly touted wineries, the Atacama Desert in the north, and the pristine wilderness of the south with its volcanoes, lakes and forests. You can also explore the mysterious Eastern Island.
Santiago, its capital, is a modern city with good public transportation and a warm mediterranean climate.
Internship in Chile Details
You will take 2 weeks of Spanish classes before your internship commences. You can add an extra week of language classes and accommodations for $350.
There is a network of existing employers with established training positions, but internships can be customized for an additional cost of $480.

Housing and Meals Participants will live with carefully screened host families and receive two meals per day. The host family option is the best way to practice and improve your language skills outside the classroom. It's also the best way to experience Chilean life by sharing in family gatherings, special events and traditional dishes. |
Eligibility:
Applicants must:
- Be 18-35 years of age
- Be a college or university student or a recent graduate
- Have some experience or currently be studying in the internship field
- Have a High Intermediate level of Spanish before beginning internship
