Spain Visa and Spanish Work Permit Requirements

Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the end of your stay. U.S. citizens do not need visas to enter Spain and are permitted to stay for up to 90 days. For longer placements you must be enrolled in language classes for 20 hours per week during the duration of your stay and obtain a Student Visa before your departure from the U.S. This process can take more than 60 days.
