Please note, placements in Kenya are not available at this time due to the unrest surrounding the recent elections. We will continuously evaluate the situation with our partner in Kenya and begin placements when the situation improves.
Volunteer in Africa programs include:
- Housing in campsites, tents, or houses (depending on project)
- Meals provided by the project, but prepared by volunteers
- Airport transfers and all project-related travel
- Specialized training for each project from qualified staff, researchers, and animal care specialists
- Bi-weekly access to email and phone facilities
- 24-hour support by our local partner
Eligibility
- Be 18-45 years of age
- Be in good health
- Have a positive attitude and be willing to live/work as part of a team
- Enjoy working with animals and outdoor activities
- Meet the requirements for Kenya Visa, Namibia Visa or South Africa Visa
