You'll spend 1-2 weeks at each project site, then have the option of changing to a different project in the same area. Projects are located in both urban and rural areas. Be prepared for varying climates and pack accordingly. Project hours are generally 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You'll usually have 1 or 2 days free per week to relax and sightsee.
You will be placed in a team of 8-10 volunteers. A Project Team Leader manages each team, providing all required training on-site. You will be shown how to use all tools and equipment safely before you start each project.
