Amristar Excursion - (Amristar, Punjab)
The city of Amristar is located in state of Punjab and is a holy city of the Sikh religion. This excursion offers participants an exciting journey into India’s multicultural society. The most stunning place of interest is the Golden Temple, also known as Harmnder Sahib, the single most revered shrine of the Sikhs. The momentous golden plated shrine encircled by the holy nectar lake is a spectacular sight that attracts Sikhs and non-Sikhs alike. Because Amristar is located only 12 miles from the border of Pakistan, participants have the opportunity to watch the daily border closing ceremony—a customary salutation among these neighboring countries, as the border closes at the end of the day. This festivity filled with colorful decorations and cheering audiences, invites participants to witness two nations with strong historical ties, standing side by side.
