Himaylan Trekking - (Dharamsala, Himachal Pradesh)
The Himalayan Trekking Excursion offers you an opportunity to trek high into the stunning Himalayan Mountains. The trek starts from McLeod Ganj in the town Dharamsala, the community of the Tibetan Government -in-exile and the home of the internationally renowned Dalai Lama. You'll camp out in the mountains, passing through authentic Indian settlements and glimpses of rural mountainous life along the way. The excursion is an astounding experience for you to view the beauty and wonder of the Himalayas while also being exposed to a vast array of fascinating cultures home to the rural, northern region of India.

- 1 night hotel accommodation
- 1 night camping in mountains
- Full-time assistance of professional trekking guide
- Free time to explore bazaars and monuments in McLeod Ganj, Dharamsala

- All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner) while trekking and at hotel
Program Itinerary:
Day 1 (Friday)
- Leave camp after volunteer work at approximately 4:00 PM – travel by Taxi
- Arrive in McCleod Ganj, Dharmasala at 6:00 PM
- Free time to shop and explore through a fusion of Indian and Tibetan market bazaars, visit Dalai Lama’s Temple, and meet other international backpackers passing through the area.
- Dinner at hotel at 8:00 PM
Day 2 (Saturday)
- Early morning breakfast at hotel Depart from hotel and begin trekking excursion from the top of McLeod Ganj
- Trek throughout day, with frequent breaks for water, tea and lunch
- Reach the mid-way point, early evening
- Setup camp for overnight
- Dinner and campfire with oth er trekkers
- Restful sleep after a long day of trekking
Day 3 (Sunday)
- Early morning breakfast and tea
- Continue trekking upward, finally reaching the mountain’s summit.
- Trek downwards, back to McLeod Ganj
- Have another hour of free time to explor e McLeod Ganj and do some last minute shopping
- Board a taxi back to the camp, arriving at approximately 8:00 PM
