Himachal, India Volunteer Programs

The Himalayan location is available for participants form March to December, around the regionally important town of Palampur in the state of Himachal Pradesh. Our partner agency’s Himalaya base is located 18 miles from Dharamsala, the capital of the exiled Tibetan government and center of Tibetan Buddhist culture, adding another cultural dimension to the numerous opportunities that the program offers.

Excursions

4 and 8 weeks:
Trekking trip in the Himalays for a total of 2 night and 2 days with overnight camping, all necessary gear and meals included.
8 weeks only:
Excursion to Amristar, the holy city of Sikh religion.
