Rajasthan, India Volunteer Programs
Rajasthan takes its name from the once-ruling Rajput caste and finds its storied history recorded in the forts and palaces that dot this area of northwestern India. From Jaisalmer in the West to Jairpur in the East, this is a traditional tourist destination, convenient to New Delhi. Tourism is one of the success stories of modern Rajasthan; however, economic and social progress (especially for women) remains slow and inconsistent outside of the main tourist centers. This is where the much-needed help of volunteers in India like you comes in!
