Volunteer in Costa Rica, Volunteering Programs with Language School Classes in Costa Rica
The prices on this page include host family housing and 2 meals per day if you choose a volunteer option in San Jose and similar housing, residential or dormitory housing and meals if choosing a volunteer program outside of San Jose.
Language School Classes
Volunteer in Costa Rica programs begin with a 4 week Spanish Language School portion before the 4 to 8 week volunteer placement begins. Basic and advanced courses are offered with up to 8 students per class. Classes meet 4 hours per day, Monday through Friday, mornings or afternoons. Special courses in business, medical, intercultural, Spanish American culture and Latin American current events classes available upon request for an additional fee. Learn more
Intermediate Spanish-speakers can choose to skip the Language School portion of the program and only participate in a 4 week Volunteer placement for $895.
